I had Dr. Provenzano as my surgeon and he did an amazing job. He repaired my torn ACL and within a few days I was back on my feet ready to start physical therapy. Kay was my PT and she was awesome! She helped me progress so much over my nine month recovery period. She gave me a series of different exercises and each month I progressed. Kat was very supportive and motivational throughout my entire PT journey and with her help I was able to return to playing soccer again!

Meet Dr Palumbo in 2021 for the first time after damaging my wrist. He took the time to work with me to avoid wrist surgery, but at the end we had no choice but to try and make the repair. I agreed to go with his recommendation knowing that there was a chance that I may have to have it worked on again, and if I do, he will be the doctor for me.

I have experience with Mark Provenzano and Dr Palumbo, and I am happy to work with both doctors, because no matter who I see they will both do an amazing job.

I first met Mark Provenzano around 2004 and he quickly identified the damage to my left shoulder, was able to make the repair and have me back to 100% in less than 4 weeks. So, I decided to damage my right shoulder like the first time he had me back to 100% again. A few years later I felt it was time to see how good he was in repairing knees and again Mark Provenzano accepted the Challenge and again he did not fail me. Game changing shoulder surgery

I’m writing to shed some light on my experience with The Orthopedic Sports Clinic and Dr Juan Bustos. I’m a 56-year-old active male that tore my left rotator cuff and labrum surfing in Puerto Rico in Feb of 2025. Having surfed for over 40 years this activity is very important to me and in fact is my lifestyle. This meant I had to do plenty of research before selecting a DR to work with. Orthopedic sports clinic seemed to check a lot of boxes for me as a professional and very capable, local place. As with any research when reading posted comments, you always must take all of them with a grain of salt as ALL sorts of people will take the time to write one and won’t ALL have credibility, so I decided to schedule and find out for myself. The initial visit was extremely positive everybody from the front desk to the nurses to the rescheduling folks were great, all were pleasant and professional. Dr Juan Bustos listened intently to my symptoms, scenario, concerns and my goals. He was extremely patient and made me feel like he was shooting straight with me about what to expect, was very frank about it all. We decided to collect imaging which eventually supported surgery and again Bustos was great with explaining the process and answering my questions, I had a lot. The surgery went great and happened exactly how they said it would and was actually when they discovered the labrum tear which added some activity to the surgery. The office communicated excellently with me through out post-surgery Dean and the rest of the staff as well as the PT personnel were all 100% on point with information and direction/guidance through the follow-up visits and the PT sessions. Now many weeks post Op the shoulder is right on track where Doc said it would be if I followed my PT directions, which as we all know can make or break an otherwise great surgery. I could easily go on and on about the positives of this entire group but will end it here and just simply say if you’re looking for a top-quality group to help you navigate sports related injuries, I’d recommend you give these folks a shot. They are legit.
